NSII-中国国家标本资源平台
NSII（National Specimen Information Infrastructure，国家标本资源共享平台）的前身是“标本资源的标准化整理、整合与共享平台建设（2005-2008）”。通过3年的建设和后期的持续维护，形成了能够在线浏览查询近800余万份标本资源的6个子平台，包括植物标本平台、动物标本平台、教学标本平台、自然保护区标本平台、岩矿化石标本平台和极地标本平台，涉及了100多家研究单位和高校的1800多名研究专家，基本上包含了我国主要的现代生物和古生物分类学研究力量。2011年11月9日，科技部、财政部联合下发《关于国家生态系统观测研究网络等23个国家科技基础条件平台通过认定的通知》（国科发计[2011]572号），标本资源共享平台位列其中，成为全国首批通过认定的23家科技平台之一。
