Ambo University

Ambo University, established in 1939 EC, is one of the oldest higher learning institutions in Ethiopia. Accordingly, basic education was started to be offered in a few buildings built by French engineers. Subjects taught were Amharic, Mathematics, French, etc., and they were given by four Ethiopian and four French teachers.
